저희 유년부에서는 아이들 한명 한명을 소중히 여기며 복음으로 한 영혼을 살리는데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.

| 사명

우리들의 자녀인 다음세대를 일으켜 이 시대와 다가올 미래로 나아가는 일에 사명을 갖고 이성영 목사님과 12명의 교사들이 헌신하고 있습니다. 유년부 교사들은 아이들이 예수님과 그분이 그들의 삶을 향한 목적에 “예”라고 말하도록 돕고 있습니다. 하나님의 은혜로 지난 2년 동안 어린이부는 규모와 역량 면에서 성장해 왔습니다.

| 대상

한어 및 영어권 상관없이 다양한 문화권의 1학년~6학년 아이들이 믿음안에서 성장하고 있습니다.

| 예배 시간 및 장소

유년부에서는 아이들이 신앙의 문제를 해결하고, 깊이 생각하며, 자신의 생각과 질문을 정리할 수 있는 습관을 갖도록 인도하고 있습니다. 또한 교회가 그들의 믿음을 키워하고, 친구를 사귀며, 선배들로부터 격려를 받을 수 있는 즐겁고 안전한 곳이라는 것을 알기를 바랍니다. 주일예배는 다음과 같습니다.

• 11:00-11:45am 찬양과 예배 (소예배실)

• 11:45-12:15pm 간식과 친교의 시간 (친교실)

• 12:15-1:00pm 소그룹 성경공부 (분반교실)

• 연중에는 다음을 포함한 여러 다른 활동이 있습니다:

• 여름성경학교 VBS (6월 첫주 목~토)

• 1박2일 기도수양회 (2월, 11월)

• 할렐루야의 밤 (10월)

• 피크닉 (5월)

• 여학생/ 남학생 별도 친교 시간

• 성탄의 밤 (12월)

| Our Belief

We believe every kid should be known, connected, equipped, and empowered. We’re here to help kids say “yes” to Jesus and his purposes for their lives!

| Mission

We exist to urgently lead kids to say yes to Jesus and His purpose for their lives. Every gathering and experience is designed to meet kids where they are at and help them take their next step in following Jesus. By the grace of God, KCC Children’s ministry has grown in size and strength the past two years.

| Who we serve

All children from 1st to 6th grade, regardless of background.

| Sunday Worship and Bible Study

Connecting Kids to God and Others: We make space for kids to problem solve, think deeply, and process their thoughts and questions. We also want them to know church is a fun and safe place to explore their faith, make friends, and feel encouraged by leaders. Our Sunday program includes:

• 11:00-11:45am Praise and worship (Small sanctuary)

• 11:45-12:15pm Snacks and fellowship (Fellowship hall)

• 12:15-1:00pm Small group bible study (Classrooms)

Throughout the year, we have several other activities including:

• Vacation Bible School (June 1st week Thu-Sat)

• 2-day Prayer lock-in (February, November)

• Hallelujah Night (Oct)

• Picnic (May)

• Girls and boys night out

• Christmas presentation (December)
